ABOUT ME
I started advocacy with one goal in mind: to help seniors and their families with support, resources and training to effectively take care of their loved one living with a long-term care illness. My background is in Healthcare and Insurance but more importantly care giving. I have been the caregiver of my mother living with Dementia for over seven years. I understand the challenges and stress that come with caring for a loved one with a long-term care illness, and I am committed to providing guidance and support to make the journey a little bit easier. Through advocacy, I aim to educate seniors and their families on the available resources and support services, help them navigate the complex healthcare system, and empower them to make informed decisions about their loved one's care. I also work to raise awareness about the importance of advance care planning, end-of-life care, and the need for quality long-term care options. I believe that every senior deserves to age with dignity and respect, and I am dedicated to ensuring that they receive the care and support they need to live their best possible life. By advocating for seniors and their families, I hope to make a positive impact on their quality of life and bring about positive change in the long-term care system.
I’d love to help you. See how you can work with me to discover how to live with support.
